Mad Max Fury Road Wins FIPRESCI Grand Prix award

Mad Max Fury Road won the FIPRESCI Grand Prix award (voted by 493 International Film Critics) which was presented to the director at The San Sebastian Film Festival  where this award has been presented since its creation in 1999, to film makers such as jean-Luc Godard, Michael Haneke, Paul Thomas Anderson, Jafar Panahi, Pedro Almodovar or Richard Linklaker.
The Finalist are selected from movies that had their premiere after July 1, 2014 until August, 2015.

Mad Max: Fury Road was selected as the best film of the year with four more months left to go, and a whole tsunami of Award-worthy films on the way, it's because the 2015 Fipresci best film award finalists were all chosen from films that had their premiere after July 1, 2014 through this week, when the award was announced.
