We'll see a black & white version of Mad Max Fury Road according Miller

Miller told LA Times : " Not in cinemas. The best version of "Road Warrior" was what we called a "slash dupe," a cheap, black-and-white version of the movie for the composer. Something about it seemed more authentic and elemental. So I asked Eric Whipp, the ["Fury Road"] colorist, "Can I see some scenes in black and white with quite a bit of contrast?" They looked great. So I said to the guys at Warners, "Can we put a black-and-white version on the DVD?" There wasn't enough room. [It'll end up] on another version with commentary and other features."

The whole interview with LA Times is very interesting

Indiewire writes that Mad Max Fury Road might win the Oscar as Best Picture!

"And this story may indeed wind up as the most unorthodox Oscar winner in modern history. While other blockbusters have found their way into the best picture race — from "The Dark Knight" to "Avatar" — none of them offer such a rich tapestry of ideas to complement their baser elements. "Fury Road" is the rare movie that starts and ends with a bang that reverberates, long after the credits roll, as the conversations continue."
